History
Air Europa has the OACI code: AEA and the IATA code: UX.
Air Europa is established in 1986. In 1993 begins to establish domestic scheduled flights breaking the monopoly of Iberia in Spain. A year later it opens the route Madrid-Barcelona and in 1995 it already flies to London and New York, opening to the market of regular international flights.
On September 1st, 2007, Air Europa officially enters Skyteam alliance, a group of 20 airlines and which offers its passengers the ability to access an extensive global network with more than 16,270 daily flights to 1,057 destinations in 179 countries.
Air Europa Destinations:
Air Europa flies from Palma Airport to Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Granada, Ibiza, Madrid, Malaga, Menorca, Paris-Orly, Santiago de Compostela, , Valencia, Valladolid and Zaragoza. On seasonal it flies to Seville and (charter flights) to Åre / Östersund, Borlänge, Halmstad, Haugesund, Humberside, Inverness, Jersey, Jönköping, Molde, Sandefjord, Shannon, Skellefteå, Sundsvall and Tel Aviv-Ben.
