History

Vueling Airlines is a Spanish low-cost airline based at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport. It is the Spanish airline with the most destinations - around 140 - with important hubs at various airports, apart from Barcelona.
Its subsidiaries include Iberia, British Airways, LEVEL and Aer Lingus. It has the Vueling Club frequent flyer programme and its points are called AVIOS, which it shares with its subsidiary Iberia.
Vueling has received numerous awards and prizes, such as the 2021 award for Best Low-Cost Airline of the Year. It was also named Best Airline of the Year at the 2023 Routes World annual conference.

Vueling flies from Palma Airport to Asturias, Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Granada, Jerez de la Frontera, Malaga, Munich, Paris-Orly, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Valencia, Zaragoza and Zürich. On seasonal it flies to Amsterdam, Lisbon, Nantes, Rome-Fiumicino and Santander.
